Hello all and welcome back!
Today is a pretty sad day. It was out last day at Sacred Heart. We had to reschedule this day because the previous Thursday was canceled because of an issue at the school. After the final group taught their last lesson, it was time to say goodbye to the students. 😔 We decided as a class to hand out awards to the students for their participation. As we were doing this, some students got very emotional. A couple were pretty upset at the fact that we would not be back to work with them any longer.
Secondly, We said goodbye to the teacher whose class we worked in. As a class we signed a card for her and got her a gift to show our appreciation for letting us conduct our fieldwork in her class.
This is one of the best classes I've been a part of in fieldwork and I really enjoyed working with these students. Hopefully when I take Science Methods I end up with these students or a class just like it!
